How Does a Donation-Based, Non-Profit Festival Work?
Each year, while every show is free to attend, we ask our audience to donate at each event. All donations collected at each show benefit a local/regional organization.
In previous years, we’ve benefited the Wisconsin NAMI, ACLU, The Milwaukee COA, UPAF and the Wisconsin Humane Society.
While all donations go to the organization, we’re able to cover the cost of producing our festival with the help of our sponsors, applicants, and venues each year. Any remaining funds at the end of each year goes directly to our donation pool.
Our previous sponsors include Excel Printing, Lakefront Brewery, Hear Here Presents, 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, Classic Slice, Var Art Gallery, Vanguard and many more!
